Malt and distilled vinegar
After all this time I don't think I've worked out if there is a difference between the two and if so what it is. Does anyone know? Can they be used the same way?
Thanks

The clear one is distilled - ie: turned to vapour and cooled again to reform as liquid. You can use them for the same things, but distilled is for when you don't want to colour things brown - certain types of pickle for example. Distilled is also better for laundry purposes for this reason.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0
