Saving up for wedding

Hi
I'm hoping to get married Spring/Summer 2011 and plan to save £250 per month towards it. ow is everyone managing their wedding savings? I'm not sure where is the best place for them...I guess some things I might buy as I go along so will need access to the funds. ISAs seem really rubbish at the moment but then in a normal savings account would I end up paying tax?

Funny you asked this question I have 4 years to save up for my wedding so we're saving £160 per month towards it, I have emailed my financial advisor to ask her which is the best way to put this money away for the wedding I am just waiting for her reply. As soon as she has emailed me I'll let you know what she recommends

We're currently saving £250 a month each into separate Barclays regular saver accounts, as they had a good interest rate offer when we opened them in November, they run for 12 months & you lose the bonus interest for the month if you withdraw in that month, but it all adds up!0

Thanks I'll look into that option.0

I like the barclays one, I started mine in April and the interest on it is good. I wasn't saving for the wedding then though0

The AA are doing a good one I seen it on lovemoney.com

My FA hasn't got back to me yet I'll be roasting her when she does
