As mentioned on another thread I am trying to get a car loan, EXPIERIAN tells me I have a 800 and something score, been turned down by Tesco, Zopa and Post office so I applied with these guys

and they are willing to help. They said they maybe able to get me finance with Santandar or Barclays. Payments seem affordable all I need to do is find a car I want and get back to them.

Has anyone used them or been abused by them! ????

I think the things to bear in mind is what they won't be able to do for you.

- It sounds as though they are a broker, therefore they will not be able to give you an exact repayment as this will be down to the lenders themselves.
- As a broker, they will not be able to guarantee you a loan.
- They probably won't do a credit check on you so if you've been turned down by a few lenders within the past 6 months then they may not take this into account (however lenders you apply with will).

Whilst you may have to pay more for the vehicle itself, do check out garages that offer finance 'in house'. They'll be underwritten by a lender of course and will be subject to credit checks however they can arrange everything for you and is really in their best interest for you to get accepted (as opposed to a 3rd party lender that will usually have a much tighter margin of lending).

Seriously, wake up to this quickly or despair is ahead of you.

wouldnt going through a dealer and getting HP secured on a vehicle be a better option for you than a personal loan. the lender has an asset then making the loan less risky.
