Hi everyone
Can't believe it is Monday already
Just before Christmas Tesco messed up my grocery order and delivered seven massive bags of potatoes .... there are only four of us here :rotfl:
I have frozen some as mash, and parboiled and frozen some for roasties. I am going to bake some in the oven and freeze them after I have mashed the middle up with butter and cheese - not tried this before but hopefully it will work. I plan to get them out and cook them from frozen.
I am fed up of peeling potatoes so I wondered ..... if I cut some into wedges and parboil them, could I then freeze them on a tray for wedges?
Thanks guys

I do it slightly differently. I wash, cut into wedges, oil and season and then roast for 20 mins turning once. they are then par roasted freeze flat then tip into a bag and just put a handful on an oven tray and roast for 20 ish mins to finish when you want.
If i am cooking something like a sunday roast i have been known to do a 5kgbag of potatoes like this to freeze for ease during the monthMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
