Zenetal Tech Inc - Advice please

I recently applied for a job from Reed & have received an email back today. The company is Zenetal Tech Inc & I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of them, or where I can find more out about the company, as google is not throwing much up.

The job I applied for is data entry / accountant, it's working from home, I'm just a bit wary because the email I received isn't really written in very good English...apparently they are sending me a laptop to do the work on. I just want to make sure this isn't some sort of scam & that it is a bona fide company.

Any advice / help would be much appreciated :A

I got same feeling, they will send me laptop to start working on it, in the first email, they sent me in the name of Cisco, but address looks odd.

Yes, me too - the first email mentioned Cisco Systems Inc, which appears to be a genuine company & has a website etc.
The next email only mentions Zenetal Tech. I've only had email contact with them, no proper interview, they don't seem to have a contact number...
I just find it strange that they are planning to send me a laptop, printer etc, without ever actually speaking to me.

If no-one has any info on this company, could you recommend any way of finding out if it is genuine? I know you can do company searches on Companies House but is this only for UK registered companies?

this sounds like the "handling payments" scam , you make out invoices and handle payments for them , normally via your own bank account , the payments are made with stolen cards but by the time you find out you have already forwarded the cash to Zenetal . Police will come knocking on your door , not the scammers

Below is an email i recieved from Reed after i had applied for this "job".

Hmm interesting. I didn't receive any communication from Reed,might give them an email.
Hopefully Reed will be able to look into it and confirm whether or not it's a genuine company, but I'm laying my bets on it being a scam.

Anything that mentions data entry from home usually turns out to be some kind of scam.

Yeah, I thought so & usually avoid things like this. Just that it was advertised on Reed made me think it was more of a "proper" job, but maybe not!
