Hello
just doing the old tax return - yawn!! My hubby has just asked if we can claim for a HIP we had done during 08/09 tax year when we were going to sell our BTL property. It didn't sell so withdrew from market. Is that classed as allowable?
thanks

Not allowable agaisnt letting income as its nothing to do with the letting. It could have been allowable against CGT had you sold it.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0

Surely the EPC element is deductable as it is EEC Law to have in place?
