Hi All, just back from a lovely evening with my DH, and spent a grand total of nothing! Yay, anyway I've got my weekly shpping in so I'm aiming on a low spend week, please put me down for £30 (this includes a meal for DHs birthday on Saturday)

Well I failed this week with a total spend of £46.95 compared to a budget of £25 :(

But, it is my first week signed up to this and I had 3 birthdays in the week so I'm going to persevere with a £25 budget for this week!

Lets hope I can bring that spending down!

Emsikins I got a red last week, it was my first week too. It just made me determined not to do it again. I bet you still spent less than you would have done, were you not in the challenge

  • Good evening all!

Congrats on the bonus Pointy - fingers crossed that we all turn up for work tomorrow and get similar good news ...

Please show me green for this week Pointy with a spend of £19.79.

Next week is a different kettle of fish however - I have a massive food shop on the cards, bits n bobs to buy for a friend's stag weekend and wedding, plus 2 colleagues are leaving, so I'm having to factor in transport and drinks into this week's budget as well! So I'm going to pledge a grand total of £200! At least February is a short month ...

Well done everyone else who came in green this week and congrats to Baileys Babe on another purple week. Good luck everyone for W/C 24 Jan 2010.

  • I spent £1 last week :D hurray!

This week, I would like to try £0... simply because I've already added up my accounts on my spreadsheet and I don't want to have to edit them again (because that's just too much of a pain).... I have plenty of food in the house, and no plan of going out :)
  • Evening all,

Many thanks for your congratulations I am really happy about the bonus thing as it makes life so much easier and I can start saving for all the things I want to do.:D

Anyway I know I am a bit late but the new thread has been started here
