Last week:
1. Sit down with DS and plan menu for week. He's taking a year out of uni but has a job - am going to charge him board so he starts to learn what life is about, but know that in return he will want input into what he eats!!!Didn't have to as when we coordinated diaries he decided to live out of freezer!
2. 4 no spend days, not counting car parks etc which claim back from work. Won't include any 'disciplined spending' related to 1. in this!Managed 3 which quite pleased with as best friend came for weekend so shopped 1 day earlier, with £16 back from Tesco misprices!
3. Research buying smoothie maker (linked to DS & 1 - he drinks a lot of them which I want to encourage but think cheaper to make own? May convince myself to go on smoothie detox!)Researched and bought - £25, haven't really used it enough yet though. Make lovely cheesy dip to eat while watched cheesy England team!
4. 100 minutes on exercise bike!!!!!!   Starting with 10 mins for England goal this afternoon!!!70 minutes. Had planned to catch up yesterday afternoon but not my fault pants team didn't score!!!!
5. Sort out probs with electric, gas & water billing / lack of billing   Done, but had to write to British Gas as not prepared to spend 30 minutes (their estimate) on phone at MY expense!!!!!!!
This week:
1. 1 no spend day. I know this is pants but is realistic.
2. Make and consume smoothies! Start tonight by freezing manky bananas into chunks.
3. Managed extra task last week - listed & sold 3 ebay items, 2 already paid, so this week's goal is post these and list 3 more.
4. Decorate all weekend as OH away.
5. Earn £5 on quidco or 3000 points on pigsback.
Oh what a very exciting week I have ahead!!!!!!!!

Last weeks goals:
1. Negotiate BB deal with NTL - no
2. Reply to Argos letter re: refund. Try and find 2 yr old receipt! - no, and I don't have the receipt3. No spend days, should do this easily in theory - I managed 4 but could have been 5 if I'd not splurged on McD for me and DD
4. Clean car inside and out - yes and it's looking lovely
5. Look at budget again, particularly food - looked at budget, need to get onto OS for some cheap meals
6. No more than £20 on night out on Friday...including petrol for 100 mile round trip! - spent £14.70 but didn't included petrol as I'd enough in the car
7. Continue no smoking -yep
This week I will.....
1. Negotiate NTL BB
2. Write that Argos letter
3. Continue No Smoking
4. Visit OS and find 3 new recipes for cheap meals and try at least one
5. Have 3 No Spend days (won't be so easy this week)
6. Try and make a nice lunch on Wednesday for me and friend for no more than £2
7. Spend <£20 on trip to Southampton for parking and cinema on Monday0 -
My goals for this coming week are:
1) No take aways - sounds easy, but I love my curry
2) Focus uber hard at work - boss is off so want to make a good impression as he has left me in charge
3) Eat what I have in my cupboards - I always tend to go supermarket shopping, even though I have a cupboard full of stuff
4) Go jogging - I've been saying it for ages and have promised myself I will start it this week
5) Make a packed lunch everyday for work - sometimes just can't be arsed at 7am, but I know it's soooooo worth it :rolleyes:0 -
Hi All
I thought I might join in and actually put my goals down for all to see and then I might be 'shamed' into having more of a chance of getting them done.
1. Send solicitors letter off re car crash last week - long story but have whip lash injury now.
2. MOST IMPORTANT - write at least 1000 words of dissertation.
3. Complete and post CCCS letters to creditors - scary start to the process but on a positive note DMP due to start in August.
4. Contact all DD people to let them know new parachute account numbers + salary/CSA etc.
5. List 6 items on ebay - tried today but ebay threw a hissy fit and would not update and so I threw a hissy fit too and gave up!
6. Chase up possible repairs to my car/ or write off. Car garage gave me is too small and has no air con, this is 2nd one as first was faulty. Why is my life never simple.......
7. Try and sort utilities for let house, they say not paid since Oct 05 when previous tenants were still there... Also meter readings do not match up. More hassle.
8. Try to do some gardening..... as I have a jungle of weeds or as I prefer to look on it a wildlife haven!
Take care all......
