Party bag ideas for 'Magic Party'

My sons 5th 'Magic Party' is a few weeks away.
I am a bit stuck on ideas for party bags (30 children) I do not like the cheap plastic toys you usually get.
I already have:
Foil windmills (reduced to 1p each in Tesco summer sale)
Homemade cupcakes
What else can I put in that is not too expensive and fits in with the theme??
Thanks.

Hmmm ..............
I got a card of 12 adhesive moustaches from e-bay the other day for about £3.45 - might be fun.
Magic gloves that stretch.
Mini packets of playing cards.
Sweets that change colour
Star shaped erasers
Magic wand liqourice sticks
Magic writing slates
I am sure Poundland/Poundworld have little packs you could break up.
Bouncy Balls
Glow in the dark stuff
Any good ?????0 -
A lot of the things on the above list can be found in Poundland or the 99p shop, things like glow in the dark stars, magic writing slates, erasers, magic gloves etc. Wilkos is also good for that sort of thing. What about a magic wand kit? Cut out stars from stiff card and get a load of lollipop sticks from a craft shop, then get them to decorate the stars and sticks with colours and glitter glue before you stick the two together with sticky dots or glue. You could do the same with a pointy hat - cut out the template for the bag, then staple them together after decorating, and staple on some elastic to help them stay on heads. You might even find shiny elastic thread left over in the Christmas decorations section.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0
