  • Good price for those who are looking for one!
I personally dont understand them, they look impossible to get up and walk aound in cos they look so long.
If you have pets aswell i am guessing the fabric attracts hairs like nobody's business.
    They look very 'nun -like'.

I found out (from reading here) in the last week that they're open/exposed at the back too, so also not something you can "wear" for pottering about the house comfortably in either easily. I'd assumed they were sewn up round the back. I can see why they aren't, but it did come as a surprise.

I'd certainly get one at £5, except the nearest to me also involves a £10 fuel/parking bill, so I'd rather order online when I see one cheap enough.

I cant see the point in them either, especially the other ones that are so expensive, just get a full length dressing gown and wear it back to front, you can even tie the rope the other way too!
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

So, in theory, if its open at the back, then its a settee 'lazing around' oufit - fair enough! But why does it have sleeves like bat wings? Doesnt seem very good for drinking warm cups of tea. Theyd plop into your cuppa :P

Anyway, at a fiver it can double up as allsorts.
Sure a lady said the other day she was going to buy some really cheap tshirts , for a pound , someone had pointed out JUST so she could use them for cleaning the car?? lol, maybe this item has equally useful future uses!

I know it's not for everyone but I just thought I'd post this offer for those who wanted a Slanket but didn't want to spend £30 or if anyone lived close to any of the stores so they didn't have to pay the £2.50 p&p on the JD Williams version.

I'll be using mine whilst traveling on the plane as I'm always cold on long haul flights and the blankets are never sufficient. If the big freeze happens again and I have to do any motorway driving, I'll make sure I throw mine in the back of my car - just in case I have to spend the night in it! :D

  • It's a good deal. Pity there are no stores near me. I bought these for my mum and Mother in law for christmas and they were £15 each or two for £25 at Asda. They look really cosy and I'm annoyed with myself that I didn't but one for me.

  • Thanks! I was going to get the other one that someone posted but didn't get round to it in time. I'm going in to town tomorrow and they have a The Works there so it's helped me.
