Thats-What-I-Think merging with GlobalTestmarket

Got this email a few days ago

As of today, thats-what-i-think.co.uk has joined forces with GlobalTestMarket, a worldwide program for online market research. Here's what you need to know about this change:

Once you complete the required confirmation steps (described below), you will become eligible to participate in a broad range of market research studies. The email address is not working though - it is being redirected to a company called "troy research" and is being bounced undelivered.

What I am trying to find out is if points in Thats-What-I-Think will be migrated to a GlobalTestmarket account or if GTM points will now be applied to the TWIT account?

Anyone else a member of these?

Any ideas?

Hi I got this as well. I just looked on What-I-Think, & found im just one more survey away from being able to redeem my first & last lol voucher.

It dosen't say Have you tried Globals email address

How long does it usually take to receive your payout cheque from globaltestmarket by the way? I ordered mine about 4 weeks ago and am still waiting?

you should be receiving your cheque soon they usually take around 4-6 weeks but might be a bit longer if a lot of poeple applied for their money around christmas time,

gtm used to pay in us currency and convert it to sterling and you could gain if the currency was in our favour but from what i have read above it looks like it is a set amount of £30 now.

Oh no! I figured out I was due about £45 with the currency conversion. Hope they stick to the rules that were on place at the time of ordering.
Thanks for the info, I know it said 4 to 6 weeks on website but I already know from places like toluna that there can be a big difference between what's in the FAQ and what actually happens.

I emailed thatwhatithink.co.uk to ask if my points will be merged with globaltestmarket as I am already a member. They said the points wont be merged, I need to spend my points on thatswhatithink.co.uk. I don't have enough for a voucher so I think I will just lose them.
Also think globaltestmarket has gone downhill lately. A lot of surveys jusy give sweepstake entries not points.

I joined GTM as i thought they where shutting down and wondered about my points so was going to email them and cant find the address on there site, i have just tried to log in and now found my account has been disabled! Has this happened to anyone else?

Could someone point in the right direct please as to where the email address is on thatswhatithink so i can get my account reactived as i was only one survey off getting a voucher and joined GTM as i tought thats what i had to do top keep my account open?

Which email address did you use?
I contacted GTM and got the same response i.e. that the points must be spent on TWIT but I can't seem to get through to TWIT.
