Just trying to reduce my cost and the best I can find is 5% off and free delivery with Currys

Can anyone else recommend vouchers for catalogues or anywhere else that sells appliances! Will prob be spending 300+

Well before committing to Currys (regularly overpriced imo) check the model of item you are interested on Kelkoo.co.uk, dealtime.co.uk, Pricerunner etc.

Online retailers that we have used for big items have been EmpireDirect.co.uk and qed-uk.com too.

Check the sellers listed under greasypalm.co.uk for some cashback discounts too.

In the past we have bettered all the deals offered online and through chain stores by going to a local family dealer of white goods - on more than one occasion too.

Remember to offer to take out their extended warranty in exchange for a discount or free delivery or something - then cancel the warranty a week later ;D

We did this with our washing machine and got free delivery and free installation - just remember to cancel the extended warranty!!

Hi Sorry .. a bit off topic ..i assume if you cance the extended waranty they goive you the full extended price back , which is normaly a % of the item price ...corect ??

When you purchase the item they'll usually give you a seperate price for the extended warranty (i.e. Our washing machine was £169 and the warranty was £90 ). Once I cancel the warranty they'll refund me the £90 for the warranty. The lady in the shop said that you can cancel it anytime within the first year (while the extended warranty isn't being used) but I'm pretty sure you have to cancel it within the 14 day 'cooling-off' period (someone more in the know might be able to verify this).

I'll second Biasco, don't think you'll get anywhere near their prices if you want more than just an oven ie hob, extractor etc.

B and Q and any of the other "high street" companies are VERY expensive compared to this lot.

Delivery is free if you spend more than a couple of hundred quid as opposed to most online retailers of these items.

Just spent over 3000GBP at Kitchen Appliances Direct at Leeds (KAD) - they have Kelkoo prices, but you can see the products. Free delivery and customer services were fantastic.

Also had a sale on, so many prices were cheaper than kelkoo believe it or not.
However sale may have ended now.
