It's mince tonight and I thought about doing pasties - I found some puff pastry lurking in the freezer.
Then I wondered about doing keema/indian pasties and thought about adding curry powder , coriander and some chick peas to the mix? Sounds good in theory, anyone think this won't work??

Sounds fab!The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

I would add some diced potato and peas if making indian pasties. A bit like a samosa. It'll make the meat go further aswell."A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Mark Twain0

well, the mix is made and the pastry is defrosting.
I was going to add some potatoes, but there would have been too much mixture for the pastry, so I'm going to boil some big cubes then fry them off and have them on the side.
The puff pastry is going to do nothing for my diet, but this month is all about budget budget budget and if it's in the freezer, than at some point, it's going on the table!

Frozen peas would work with the meat and potato. Healthy greens?
