cleaning austrian blinds

We have a seven foot austrian blind which was in place when we moved in. No instructions on how to disemble in order to wash.

Have managed to unclip track from mounting clips but don't know how to proceed further. Must we untie all the strings and risk not getting back together or is there an easier way which we have overlooked. Any help much appreciated
