Today

Hi everyone,

Today is my first day of trying to get out of debt. I am going to spend the rest of today and tomorrow examining my finances and looking at where I can make savings, the best way to clear my existing debt and looking at how I can change my lifestyle so I never get into the same situation again!

I would just like to say thank you to everyone who uses these boards as it has given me so much inspiration and really given me the push I need to start!

Good luck to everyone who is trying to be debt free and for those who have cleared even a small part of their debt CONGRATULATIONS!!
:T

Well done for having your LBM!
When you're ready, I'd recommend posting your SOA on here and letting people pick it apart for you and offer suggestions. Thre may be things you haven't thought of yourself.

    welcome.
First thing is as your going to be sorting out your finances you could use this SOA http://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html

It has been my lifesaver and got me (almost) debtfree!! Make sure you save the data otherwise when you log out it will not save.

If you want too you can post it here for others to advise you.

    Goodluck x

Hi Laura, how are you getting on? Have you worked through your paperwork and finances yet?
