Advice needed regarding PCP agreement..

Hi All,

I entered into a 3-year PCP agreement in October 2008 but due to a change in circumstance (having another child) the car is just too small now.
The total amount payable was £8900 and I've paid roughly about £2600. If I carry on with my repayments I should be able to end the agreement and give the car back around December this year but I've been thinking about selling it and just paying the difference to make up the £8900. I'd probably get around £5000-£5500 for the car so I'd have to find about £1000 to make up the £8900.
Am I even allowed to sell the car privately whilst its still under agreement?
I just dont know what to do.. Has anyone had any similar experiences they could share?

Vic
