Dry , brittle cuticles - any Os hints

Hi
wondering if anyone can suggest anything for the above. My cuticles grow really thick (I am bad cos I don't wear rubber gloves for cleaning) and they are so sore, ragged and dry.
Anyone got any hints to help with the problem. I know I should wear gloves but forget all the time. Because they are so sore and ragged I tend to pick at them and make them worse.
Help!

Try rubbing almond oil or olive oil into the cuticles and then wearing a pair of cotton gloves overnight."This site is addictive!"

i second the olive oil, Thats waht i do and it makes my hands so, my cuticles conditioned and my nails nice and strong. Just a little bit on a cotton wool pad and rub it over your hands and nails, then massage in for as long as you can. i normally only last about a min before i get bored.

I'm also in agreement with the olive oil, there are also parafin wax dips you can buy which are gorgeous, but olive oil is much cheaperWith Love From The Mistress xx
