Argos: straighteners £49.99 to 13.99

Andrew Collinge Digital Proshine 230 Straightener, was £49.99, now reduced to £13.99 at Argos. Seems like a pretty good deal, they have good reviews.

Anyone have these already? What are they like?

I took a babyliss set back just over a week ago cos they'd broke and as they don't do them anymore to replace I got these instead. Bit gutted now cos they were £19.99 (originals were £36.40) so I got a £16.40 voucher back, if I'd waited a week I'd have got another £6! ah well, was just happy to have some that work!

The straightners themselves have been good so far. I have short wavy hair and I just run them through once or twice to get rid of the waves. They do the job well if I have them on full heat. No worse than others I've had, although slightly slower to get to full heat. I do like that it tells you exactly what heat it's at though. Anyhow and at that price I'd say they're a good deal.

I got a pair yesterday as my ghds broke and thought I'd try a different pair and oh my I was impressed, they heat up within 30secs and are just as hot as ghds so I am glad I bought mine! I have thick wavy hair and it straightners it really well. Well worth the £13.99.

I bought these last week, to replace my old and dodgy straighteners. I'm well impressed, they fully straighten my daughters long thick curly hair too :T .
