when I am trying to book this, it adds a £2.10 fee making it £5.10 for 2 adults and 1 child - anyone have any idea how to get rid of it? or should I just pay at the cinema ( is that possible?)0

Just pay at the cinema. Most of the major film chains (cineworld, Odean, Apollo) have kids clubs screening. With some of them your pay for the child and an adult goes free. Just check their wesbites for a cinema near you0 -
Cineworld its £1 for children and adults. Still a bargain tho!Or if you go on to the woolworths website and sign up to the vip bit I think you can get free Cineworld tickets. Only for the £1 showing.0

Just to say the Woolworths 'Free Movies for Juniors' promotion has now ended - I received an email from them yesterday confirming it, which is unfortunate as I used it loads last year!If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.;)0 -
O really? Typical lol0

As an ex cineworld employee, I'd recommend the Movies for Juniors (or the 'pound films' as alot of customers like to call them
)
Tickets cost £1 per child and £1 per adult (please note adults can only attend with a child..) and there are always 3 movies to choose from - generally kids films that have recently been taken off the big screen.
The movies are usually tiered by 10 minutes start times, so 1 will start at 10, 1 at 10:10 and 1 at 10:20..but it's worthwhile checking the listings for which movies are showing that week and the times at www.cineworld.co.uk
Movies for Juniors is VERY popular, especially for kids birthdays and outings (10 people to see a movie for £10 isn't bad value!) and as a Cineworld employee i've found alot of the time if the child has enjoyed a certain film, they will want to see it again the following week, regardless of what the other options are..and for £1 you can't really complain at your child being quiet for 2 hours
M4J is always very busy, Saturday mornings are chaotic between 9:30am and 11am for people going into these films, and there is the odd instance where a specific movie has sold out (usually disney ones..Ratatouille was havoc!) but as it's only £1..people generally don't mind what they watch with their kid..a few hours peace is golden for the price!
By rule I wouldn't bother booking online, you get charged a booking fee which makes the £1 ticket not worth it..turning up on the day in good time will get you a seatAlso, if you have time during the week before hand you can always pop into your local Cineworld and buy your tickets for the M4J saturday movies in advance for no extra charge

We go when the weather is bad, my boys, who are just 3 and 2, sit as good as gold and really enjoy this treat! If for some reason they kick up and don't want to watch the whole movie, it's no bug deal as it just cost us 4 pound for the family0

our vue cinema screens kids films fri,sat,sun at 10.30am all tickets are 95p each this week its g-force i have 4 kids so a usual trip to the cinema costs me a fortune but these screenings are great the kids get out and the parents are happy.best win in 2011:eek: 4 nights in Las Vegas :eek:
2011 wins £8,752.000 -
We go to these almost every week - usually Vue, but sometimes Cineworld. They are great value. The Cineworld ones always seem popular, but most now have ticket machines where you pay with a debit card if you don't want to queue.
Our Vue cinema was doing a deal where you got a small tray with popcorn, drink and a packet of sweets for £2. If you buy sweets at the kiosk it will be an expensive morning out. We take our own sweets and then sometimes have lunch at BK or Subway.
The films are usually pretty good - we have seen some of them 3 times. G- Force is excellent - highly recommend seeing this one.
I know some people are a bit funny about going to these showings and think they are full of crying babies and little kids running about. I have always found the kids to be well-behaved, and as Rissa said, when the children have had enough, the parents tend to take them out instead of making them sit whining through the film.0
