As to add to the insult on a week when countless jobs are lost in the real economy
Fred the shred find a new job, 'he will help with strategy'.
Maybe he should write a book about the biggest day light robbery in the history of this country and make some more dosh?
Or maybe the title should be: How me and a bunch of other Scots helped many of our fellow countryman return to the old Scottish values?! (prudence, thrift yada yada)
Blood, boil, etc'
I need another cup of tea to relax after reading this, put the kettle on daling' :D

I still don't understand why he is a 'Sir'

It devalues the concept of a knighthood.

I was expecting this to be about Fred Flintstone.

It wasn't so long ago that he was regarded as a genius who had turned RBS into a world class bank. It seems that he bit off more than he could chew with ABN Ambro, but the shareholders went along with it and Barclays very nearly bought it too.

He had quite a lot of money, and he gave it to the government of the day. What's to understand? I can assure you, the knighthood wasn't devalued, he paid more for it than the average knight.
