Looking for a decent digital camera - £70-£80. needs to have optical zoom and at least 3 meg.

For your budget I'm afraid that you will be having to look at Superdrug/Argos Well known brands with best performance are Canon, HP, Fujifilm and Casio are well above your budget and spec for point and shoot type cameras - unless you're lucky!
