Future job fund - Advice please

I was wondering if someone could help me with a query regarding the future job fund.
I emailed companies with my cv asking if they were recruiting or have any voluntary work available. An employer has emailed me back asking if I have been on job seekers for 6 months and my age.
I have been on job seekers since July. However, I took up a temporary job posistion over christmas. Will this make me ineligible for the future job funds initiative?
Thanks in advance

The information they have requested from you is illegal.
Did you sign off or did you work whilst declaring your work?0 -
I had to sign off as one week I was given over 16 hours. I guess it makes me ineligible. It's crazy really. You do something because you think it will benefit you finding work and it then works out as a disadvantage.
I'll have to keep looking and take up voluntary work with them for now.
Thank you for your reply.0 -

Future job fund is paid by government so they never keep that person after the 3 or 6 months so i wouldnt worry too much about it.0

They will only take me on as a volunteer if I am not eligible. I'll keep looking

Why don't you volunteer and keep looking? Can't hurt can it or is it a full-time volunteering opportunity? Good luck in your jobsearch!0
