Thanks Debt free chick . We haven't gutted the hare yet but I will get DS3 to do it when he gets home from work today. He finishes at 3pm so can do it outside in daylight.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I'd be interested to know if he's able to eat the hare, once he's paunched it
I couldn't it!

DS paunched the hare last night. He had rubber gloves and apron on top of a boiler suit. He looked absolutely horrible. I am putting it into the slow cooker to cook overnight. We didn't get your message about the blood until it was too late!
Thanks for the recipe link. It is similar to the rabbit recipe that we use. DS has cleaned many rabbits in the past so is quite accustomed to it.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Gumpo I would love to be able to get a lamb for £40. Next time we are up in the Lakes we might get one and fill up the freezer. I've been looking online and half lambs (butchered) tend to cost about £55- £65, so you are getting a true bargain there! A whole lamb weighs about 20kg, so you are paying about £2 a kilo, which is amazingly cheap.
I thought that was a great price as well until I realised the post was about 18 months ago!!!0 -
