just found out

hey everyone , just to let you know i was looking at some other chat forums and came across the budgeting and current account one i noticed martin had left a tip to make £100 from the banks:money: ..i'm gonna sign up on monday ..(every little helps) i don't know how many of you know about it but wanted to point it out to those who don't as it may help get us in the right direction ..sorry if you already know or it's no help to you

    on the phone to the bank just now they are telling me that they are extending the date till august as i said don't know if this is any good for anyone but if i can save one person £100 then it's job done

    No problem sweetie, here's how you do it.
    Go to the URL bar at the top of your page - it's the one that has the 'address' of the page you are currently looking at, and it will say something like
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/newreply.blahblahblah.etc
    Highlight it (ie, click your mouse on it and it will turn blue), then go to 'Edit' at the top of the page and select 'Cut' from the drop down menu. Your highlighted URL will then disappear. Then you go back to the place you want to copy it to, in your case open a new reply on this forum, type in what you want to say and then you can insert the link by clicking on 'Edit' again and selecting 'Paste' from the drop down menu. Et Voila, your link will appear in your post and you can then submit your reply. In the finished post the URL will appear aas a clickable link for the benefit of everyone you wanted to tell about your find. Have a go, it's easy once you've done it once. Hope this helps. ;)

    i'm gonna try it next time ..i've learned how to put the smilies in and last night ozzy fan explained the signature to me .there's no stopping me now:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: thanks for the help
