Maybe ask on the load/credit card board. For better advice.
But as I understand it if they are all in his name, it is his debt to settle. I fell foul of this the other way round as my ex put a credit card in my name so I was liable to settle it all.
So unless the credit is in your name/joint names it is not your responsibility.

Are you named on them at all? Ie second card holder etc? If so, you are liable for them also.
Can I ask why you were on income support? Im surprised you were allowed loans and credit cards while not working0 -
Hi, if the credit cards are sorely in his name [i.e he signed the credit agreement], then you are not liable for them, even if you are a second card holder. TBH I would not contact them and send the letters back stating not at this address'.0

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.0
