  • Hi guys ,new around here!

My Friday on leave is going well, I have made steps towards sorting my debt issues out this morning and have finally sorted out my car breakdown cover and got £49 cash back on it :D My oh (of 13 years) told me he is really proud of me and he finally feels he has a future as I am finally sorting myself out!

I'll have a look at the weekend, I'm sure there will be shopping involved at some point! Started looking at sales online and having to convince myself I do not need another dress...

Well done Loulou - you have to start somewhere!

Sally - Slow down you're wearing me out just reading what you're upto.

I've sat on my backside for the last hour and have done nothing, I really do need to find the motivation to get dinner sorted.....and I must clean the parrot out but he's too busy counting to 10 at the moment (although he seems to have forgotton about number 7)....but I might just have another half hour on the sofa first, then wake DH up and then get on......or maybe I might just doze..........

I am not bored. I am at lunch, having gone to Lush again and made my bag smell lovely! Does anyone know a shop that does soap dishes?

The only place I can think of is a nice little independent shop round here that does ornaments and housey stuff.. sure that isn't much help!

Tigz, SW chips - peel and cut pots into chips, boil in a pan for about 4-5 mins, drain and put onto a baking tray, i line mine with foil, and spray with Fry lite or such. then bake in the oven on about 200c for about 25-30 mins till golden brown. i test to see if they are cooked by pushing a knife in.

Sounds yummy.... only problem is I don't have any spuds or frylite.... can I use normal oil if I brush it on thinly? Will get some spuds when collect DD from school x

you can drizzle the oil over the par boiled chips and they come out fine, Tigz. i also sprinkle with a little bit of salt and they crisp up nicely.
