Guaranteed car finance
Hi
Has anyone got experience of these `guaranteed` finance companies? Google searches bring up hundreds of results, most often brokers.
I am currently unemployed having been made redundant about 7 months ago, found it extremely difficult to get work so am instead now looking at being self-employed. Figure I can get a few days work here and there in my previous field with a view to try and get more or diversify slightly to get more income. My problem is that I don't have a car which is essential and I will need to obtain a loan in order to do this, I only intend to spend about £3k (an old car but not so old it will mean bills).
No CCJs, but some outstanding finance and one or two late payments in the last 7 months plus a credit card so not that bad but my employment status is the problem (current bank turned me down). I know this could be expensive but I intend to focus on paying this off ASAP
Any advice appreciated.

You won't get anything from any mainstream lender - subprime may look at you but the interest will be horrendous - IMO a non starter.0
