Don't know whats wrong with me! Just feel so unenthusiastic at the moment. I might even be having second thoughts about the whole thing........ just not sure.
Need to loose about a stone and half before the wedding and I keep eating rather than dieting. If I don't loose the weight my dress won't do up simple as that. Wedding invites have been sitting in a box under the bed for the last month and I cannot be bothered to write on them. Still need to order my remaining bridesmaid dress - as MOH is 6ft will be specially made and therefore will take at least 15 weeks according to bridl shop.
Whats wrong with me???? Haven't even arranged to meet up with our caterer yet to sort out menu's.
DF laughed at the weekend and said he had had a dream and that I was not going to turn up on the big day and daren't tell him thoughts of that kind keep crossing my mind. I just laughed and told him not to be silly.
Why do I feel like this. Having been married previously, never felt like this the first time around albeit 16 years ago!

There are only two things a child will share willingly - communicable diseases and their mother's real age

I know exactly how you feel! See my post about being low due to the snow! I feel really unmotivated and disheartened and things...its hard to describe but it SUCKS!
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -
I know how you feel this weather is dead depressing

Go and buy a wedding magazine to get you in the mood again

I agree - sounds like a case of the January Blues. I have been quite up and down for the last week or two as well - the snow, the dark, the post-christmas lull... Its not a surprise for you to feel unmotivated.
I am off to book the registrar tomorrow for our Jan 2011 wedding. Haven't got anything else planned. People think I'm really laid back but I wonder if its just that I'm a bit lazy!!
Just as an aside - my sister and two cousins all planned their weddings from proposal to wedding in about 4 months - and they were lovely weddings. I don't believe all the rubbish in the magazines about having to have every tiny detail arranged 6 months in advance...!

Count me in, fed up of everything. Just got out my favours to see if that perked me up and...... Nope! Still CBA to do anything. I've been married before (14 years for me) and don't remember feeling like this, but then remembered that I was in my early twenties and a healthy dose of 'I'm not sure' may have prevented a divorce 4 years later!
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -
I know just how you feel, i've pretty much had enough at the moment, mainly due to my bridesmaids who are my sisters. I can't muster up the enthusiasm to do anything, i can see us falling out before the big day. They haven't even mentioned my hen night so i can see that being a last minute drink at the local  For me, no one has sat me down and asked what i want or even shared my excitement over the last 9 months since i booked the wedding apart from a couple of close friends who are coming but live away so we don't see them often. All i do know is that i still want to do it although if i could turn back the clock i wouldn't have bridesmaids so maybe then they'd help me with any stresses rather than be the cause of it!:( On top of everything, went to collect my dress on wednesday and it's too short even though i paid for an extra 2". Seems i was measured wrong and obviously need 3 or 4 so expecting a call from the dressmaker at the shop today. Trying to lose a bit of weight before i go to the shop and try it again, thinking that might help a bit

Hope you're feeling better about things soon and hope you now know that for whatever reasons, you're not alone :grouphug:0 -
I know, I feel exactly the same. I've really neglected the wedding plans since long before Christmas - need a jump start really.
Going to make a concerted effort to visit this site on a regular basis again, as I've found it such a great support in the past.
Big hugs to all,
