Help to cut down my grocery bill

Can anyone help? i need to save money on my grocery shopping. Me and my OH currently spend £50 a week.
We currently follow the slliming world diet, so need healthy food.
Any ideas?

Well, what do you normally buy? What are the main bulk spends on your groceries?
If you buy a lot of meat, you can normally bulk meat meals out with lentils/soya mince (just as healthy)
downshift a brand (unless you buy everything own brand)
hang around supermarkets when they do reductions, a bit hit and miss but you can normally get some if you go at the evenings when they are about to shut.0
