Short-term loan in addition to mortgage

We are looking to buy our second home soon. To get up to the 75% LTV required, we need to borrow around £5000. Obviously, we don’t want to take out a loan for this amount now as this would go against us and reduce the amount they will lend. Apart from borrowing from our family and then paying them back by taking out a loan once the sale is cleared, are there any other suggestions which I may have over-looked?
