Can't honestly say I remember them as I've never seen a real, 'live' one but I bet there's loads of stuff on t'interweb on various green or self-sufficiency sites. I'd have a google if I were you and see what you can come up with.
Then maybe you could start a 'what's in my haybox today' threadand convert us all .....
I think you'll probably be able to find all kinds of stuff on solar cookers as well.Aspire not to have more but to be more.

thank you for your replys and websites. im thinking that im going to have a go at cooking with a haybox, this method sould save me loads of time and my gas bill.
im going to try and make one this weekend to see how it turns out.
ive found a large plastic box to turn into a haybox cooker. if i get it right i will post the how to.
your idea of whats in my haycooker sounds like great fun im going to try that to day,, thanks for your ideas you have been a great help..

i've been thinking about cooking with a haybox for a while and so tonight im just about to make my 1st one, out of a large plastic box with lid, two pillows and a sleeping bag for insulating the box.
so tomorrow im going to have a go at cooking with this haybox.
anythink that could save me time and my gas bill should be great...
