all the quizes appear to have gone eg west of ireland, rehab, and toucan has been coming soon for ages now. and i have only 2 clickthroughs in the last 3 weeks.
i for one will soon be abandoning ship if they don`t pull up their socks
..and yes i do purchase through too.
but at least with greasypalm etc you can get cashback for clicking on a shop bot eg dealtime.
i don`t want something for nothing but a little sweetener now and then at least will make their members keeping checking back.......
come back darragh...as it all seems to have gone down hill since he left...

I've had a response from Lynn at PB who tells me that the Toucan Quiz is still active on site and the question will now change on a Monday.

Just what do you want??!! Yes, it has gone quiet a bit with click-throughs and comps. But over the last couple of weeks, other sources of points have been made available. Here's my tally:

25 June - 01 July: 140 PPs
02 July - 09 July: 210 PPs
10 July - 17 July: 20 PPs so far

That's £3.70 for doing nothing but move my right index finger!

My weekly totals were boosted by 50 points for the Tesco offer on 30 June, 50 points eventually received on 4 July for an earlier Get Me A Ticket registration, and 100 points for the Enjoy England registration on 5 July.

Why mention Darragh? He is/was a Customer Services chap, not one of the staff who go out and get business for PB's site. We had similar situations months ago, where people moaned about points drying up, and everyone still called on Darragh to do something! His presence or absence makes no difference to the offers available.

It's summer. We piggies are going on holiday; the PB staff will be taking their breaks, too; there's nothing on telly, either!! I think we can reasonably expect PB to be a bit quiet for a while.

yes, but maybe you are a newbie. i have been with pigsback for over a year now, and i have noticed a very dramatic drop in ct`s and quizes etc.
they were far more generous then.
and with the problems i have had in getting points recognised from purchases i have made i feel as a company they are quite poor.
i certainly haven`t made the amount of points you have in the past few weeks...
but maybe you are right and that after the summer things may pick up!!!!
but when darragh was around he listened to and acted upon ideas and complaints put to him.
because sometimes to get a reply from pigback themselves can be a very hit or miss affair.

But we know why that is, and it was Darragh who explained it! There are six CTs every week. Some are new, some are repeats. If you've had them before, you don't get them again. Seems fair enough to me. And it's not a question of generosity. It's a question of marketing, and, of course, money-out versus money-in.

As regards quizzes, when PB first started, and before the official launch, there were two daily quizzes, to which Kazzea usually posted the answers. One was Rustlers, but I've forgotten the other, and PB have removed brand names from the Piggybank that far back! Each quiz had a 10-point reward for entering, but that dried up around the time of the official launch, IIRC. But there are now at least four daily quizzes. That's an increase, not a decrease.

Nothing has changed in over a year, in that regard. Complaints are the same now as they were then.

It was a great idea to come on here and find out all the weaknesses in their software and systems. Darragh did a great job of appeasing people. He made some very generous gestures. But then we've just read (above) of PB making a generous donation of stress piggies to a clinic/hospital, haven't we?

And what did Darragh ALWAYS say? If you have problems, email postmaster@pigsback.com. He did deal with some problems, although not all of my emails/PMs to him were answered. Others frequently bemoaned the lack of communication from PB and/or Darragh. He would disappear for days on end, and again people would ask where he was and why they were getting no replies. Darragh is/was good, but he isn't the Messiah!
