My daughter just won tonights Betfair Poker Tourny. She upset a load of people with her style of play, but what the hell.
100 people so that should be 5000 points and her 500 for her first tourny.
Son came 64th and the wife came 83rd.
She also had to log back on 3 times because she got disconnected.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -

littlejaffa wrote:I doubt pigsback are clever enough to realise you were using the same internet connection. On most poker sites, it standard if your screen freezes and your not able to play for any reason the system keeps you in the game in until a bet is needed to keep playing then it folds you. The same thing would happen if you entered a tournament but didn't actually switch your pc on and play in it etc
it sounds like pigsback's done a pretty standard thing for poker sites
Yeah, it just seems too much of a coincidence that it froze just as I was being transferred to the same table as my brother, not so?!
I don't think pigsback know that we're using the same connection (or that they care) but the betfair programme has to be very security concious because it is used for real money games too. I think it has to be in this software to recognise that we're using the same connection.
Ah well... I'll be happy as long as I get my 500 points :rolleyes:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Yes, you are right - I bought a book from Amazon marketplace earlier this week and got my points (all 10 of them!!:p), with no problem.:D
