btl insurance advice

Just a quick bit of advice needed
Am renting my house out at the beginning of March (buying a further residential property) and am looking for btl insurance. Is a 3 bed house being rented out by the room (two of the bedrooms being rented by a couple with the smaller room being their study) and a third seperate tenant. All on 6 mth assured tenancy (but the couple and single under separate agreements)
Property is a 1960's property with a flat roof. Have tenants set up and was thinking of getting a rental guarantee if possible.
I have existing buildings insurance with Halifax but they don't do buy to let. Can anyone here point me in the right direction (the flat roof being the main stumbling block)
Thanks

This is probably a classic case for an insurance broker to earn their commission!!"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him no good."(Samuel Johnson 1709-1784)

17Dave....I think you're right ...if you looks at post's they are pm'ing other forum members....i guess a broker on here touting for business....Big Brother is watching!0 -
Nope -not an insurance broker touting for business - sorry to disappoint.
not sure why my post prompted someone to trawl through my previous posts but if you have nothing better to do then fair enough.
- I am completing on house on Feb. I am renting my current house out and completing on my new house I am buying with my partner in Feb. Current house is a 3 bed property which I currently live in with two lodgers. They are a couple and rent two rooms. Have a new tenant lined up who will be taking over my room. I am doing this as don't want to lose my house if things go wrong between me and my partner.
Now back to original query - house I will be renting out is a 1960's flat roof property and while I managed to get a residential buildings insurance policy with Halifax they will not insure if i am not living there. Anyone know of an insurance company that will?I am a Mortgage Adviser
