Beef Broth

Hello all,
I've just had a tin of Beef Broth and it was delicious - I'm guessing that it'd be quite simple to make as in stock, pearl barley, potato, carrot and some cannellini beans (might have been haricots - whatever the bean is that's baked in tomato sauce!) but not sure what beef they use? Any ideas? I was in tiny bits and looked a bit like mince but it wasn't...
TIA xx

Hi Lowesy,
I just use left over roast beef or stewing steak when making beef broth. Tinned soup manufacturers chop the meat into tiny little pieces to make it go further and reduce their costs, but if you are making it yourself at home it's much nicer with slightly larger chunks of meat.
