Here are two business account that may be of interest to you. I applied (and was accepted), two weeks after my automatic discharge.

Lloyds TSB Sole Trader business account:
(cheque book, paying-in book, savings account, 18 months free banking, and a cash card)

Natwest Business Foundation Account:
(cheque book, paying-in book, Solo card)

I strongly suggest that you apply in-branch for these accounts, and not over the phone.

Lloyds immediately turned me down due to a CCJ and I have a debt - which is being paid off slowly through CCCS - with NatWest!!

All my own fault I know but if I can't trade I can't clear my debts. Catch 22!!!

Thanks to everyone who offered help and support. I have now opened an account as a limited company (which is what I wanted) with Barclays. I can't have credit but hey, I don't care if I ever have credit again - it caused so much stress!!

Anyway - onwards and upwards and good luck to anyone out there trying to get an account.:j
