Little help please

In 2005 i defaulted on 3 account which are paid off now. I would like to know if they still hold any CCA for me. Problem is i dont have any account numbers. Could some one point me in the right direction for the template that i would use. 2 of the debts were sold onto a DCAs. Should this have not been changed on my credit file? it is still showing defaulted to the origanal creditors. Just of it is im trying to get my defaults removed.

Thanks Craig

If the accounts are now settled, then:

    1) They are no longer obliged to provide you with a CCA.
    2) A CCA is unlikely to help you get defaults removed. (Due to recent court rulings in part).

The defaults don't always have to be changed to the DCA.

Is anything else about the defaults wrong? Date etc?

No, all info is correct. My own damn fault, defaults are making it hard to get a mortgage. Is there anything i could do to improve my credit rating. I paid the debts of in end of 2005/06. Got a basic bank acount had it for 2 years got a caplital one credit card had it for 2 years pay it off and use it every month. there are 12 searches on my credit file but they are from insurance companys these are almost a year old due to come off, not applied for any credit anything else i could do?

    Thanks Craig

Have a look at Martin's article here:---> Credit Ratings

May be some useful suggestions there. :)

Not a lot of consolation right this moment, but the defaults will disappear from your report in 2011 six years after the initial default date.
