10-15 years ago it was a lot easier. Heck, even 7 years ago my parents sold a house for less than 3 times my salary. Where I live I now, a 2-bed flat would be over 10 times my salary :eek:
Anyhow, this article ignores the cost of repaying the capital - it only looks at the interest. If this was included the numbers would look a lot more horrific.0
