Have you tried boots? I brought one from there recently

I'd be careful of buying one from Boots. We usually pick one up from Superdrug but they'd run out, so we got one from Boots this year and it's rubbish. It cost about £6, doesn't keep the water hot for long and after only a month the stopper has cracked so we can't use it any more.

  • If you've got one near you - Poundland, i got a few a few months ago and they are still fine and they also sell some half sized hot waterbottles, i picked up a couple more for my parents ina the last couple of weeks

    They are only £1.00

I've also seen them in Asda but i walked smuggly past them as they were about £2.00.
In Boots i have seen them with covers for £10-15 'ish
  • If you have a Habs (Home and Bargain) near you you'll get fixed up there were loads in our branch this afternoon, 99p I think

Some of the pound shop ones i've found are rather small in size. B&M had the nice big full size ones for 97 or 99p though.

Not had such a good experience with the poundland hot water bottles - very strong rubbery smell and worse, the stoppers didn't fit well and one emptied its contents all over our mattress ( luckily it had cooled down a bit when it happened). Gave in and bought others from Boots which were six times the price but are fine ( don't feel as hot but warmth seems to last longer).
  • Bought 1 last week from ASDA.

Asked the staff and they were in a large basket in the Entertainment section?? -TV's etc

    Paid £2 or £3

Your local pharmacy might have one. Mine is a 'Cassandra' rubber ribbed hot water bottle. I believe they're the most substantial you can buy although they do obviously have a rubber smell, and it might be worth slipping some fabric over it.
