Just gone bankrupt need advice

hi first time i have posted and am really hoping somebody can help! long story been married twice 1st husband father of my three children left me in a lot of debt (in my own name) when we divorced in 2002 - i have been making regular payments since then on all these debts - he was paying me as agreed in court 400 per month for my three children and a further 600 a month to help with debts - this was an informal arrangement between the two of us. i then got remarried in 2003 - bought a house together in dec 2003 and took out a joint loan in 2004 - he left in feb 2005 and we were divorced same year - since he left he has paid nothing towards the mortgage or the joint debt. i have been paying mortgage alone and have been paying the joint loan although this was sent to a DCA as i lost job. i started work again in 2006 and have been paying the debts left by my first husband and the mortgage and the joint loan. fast forward to september 2009 when my first husband announced that he was moving abroad - somewhere in spain - but told me not to worry and that he was going to continue to pay me. but you guessed it he hasn't! so my income has gone down by a significant amount of money.
anyway due to this i have had to declare myself bankrupt and did so on tuesday. within five hours of leaving court i had phone call from 'administator' just to confirm details - she has said that i will not here anything for 6-8 weeks and then i will have a telephone interview with the 'examiner'. can someone tell me is the examiner or the administrator the OR or is it neither? also why it will take so long for my telephone interview? and also why my bankruptcy is being dealt with by a receivers in swansea when i live in dorset?
during the telephone conversation with the administrator i explained the situation with the house. she told me not to worry and that because i was paying a joint mortgage on my own it would be in my best interests to do a voluntary repossession - i had assumed that the OR would take the property from me? i explained this to her and she said this was not the case. just to write letter to the mortgage company explaining that i had gone bankrupt, giving her details to them, and if the mortgage co had any queries they could contact her. i had put my mortgage on the bankruptcy forms as a secured debt. according to zoopla website there is approx 28000 equity in house i understand that only half of this is mine and will go to creditors. i am happy for this to happen as i just need to get rid of the house as without my 2nd husband signiature i am trapped! sorry to ramble - its a bad habit of mine - can anyone answer the questions i have asked earlier in this text. i have received a letter this morning from my local OR office informing me that my case has been passed to the 'debtors petition unit' at the OR office in swansea?
