Steve give me a call, I can tell you what the market is really like.

You need to search Sarkin I was telling people back in 2006

You see, I was writing the mortgages that people now have, so I have a good idea of what the market is really like then and now.

You may think your a smart cookie because you can use the search facility and found that before Northern Rock went bust I was saying this baby is going to blow. ;)

You know what, I dont right many mortgages these days, yet I still hold that view not from what I read in the papers or see on the television. But what happens to my business on a daily basis.

I spent 3 years optimising my web site, I get over 1,000 unique hits a month which is double the traffic of 2 years ago. Guess what my phone bill is out the roof, and I write less business.

I dont understand CDS spreads, short postions, gold or any other financial instrument for that matter. What I do know is that all my mates are leaving the industry. Networks are going bust and there really is not a lot of business out there.

    Why

Well there is no finance avaliable for a lot of people, you may get some smart alec come on here and say I got a new mortgage. But business levels are down well down.

You bulls want to attack me with your cok waving, all i can say is i am going out of business not from lack of enquirys but I cant place the business.

Ireland is down 50% and the UK just got further into debt, you can run but you cant hide. Having sat in people living rooms offfering 90% self cert, unlimited arrears mortgages, It feels the same just a lot bigger scale, the Uk aint no diffrent.
