Spouse going bankrupt but some debt is in joint names - advice needed

Hello everyone,
I was told by a friend this is a good board for help, so here goes -
After dealing with CCCs for a while & taking their advice my spouse is going bankrupt. Nearly all the debt is in his name except for:

A Bank of Scotland Preference account (9k) that was in joint names but has been transferred to Blair Oliver & Scott for debt collection but only transferred just in HIS name. What happens with that now?

We also have a 4k loan for Paragon finance in joint names.

I would prefer not to go bankrupt as well if at all possible.

sorry, but I think if you are joint and severally liable they will come after you for the full amount once he's bankrupt :(

Unfortunately you will still be liable for these debt unless you go bankrupt also. :(
All comments and advice given is my own opinion and does not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.

Am I still liable for the debt that was transferred to Blair Oliver & Scott just in his name?

If he goes bankrupt (and this looks likely) & they come after me for these debts, can I arrange some kind of payment plan?
