Spouse going bankrupt but some debt is in joint names - advice needed

Hello everyone,
I was told by a friend this is a good board for help, so here goes -
After dealing with CCCs for a while & taking their advice my spouse is going bankrupt. Nearly all the debt is in his name except for:
A Bank of Scotland Preference account (9k) that was in joint names but has been transferred to Blair Oliver & Scott for debt collection but only transferred just in HIS name. What happens with that now?
We also have a 4k loan for Paragon finance in joint names.
I would prefer not to go bankrupt as well if at all possible.

sorry, but I think if you are joint and severally liable they will come after you for the full amount once he's bankrupt

Unfortunately you will still be liable for these debt unless you go bankrupt also. All comments and advice given is my own opinion and does not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.

Am I still liable for the debt that was transferred to Blair Oliver & Scott just in his name?
If he goes bankrupt (and this looks likely) & they come after me for these debts, can I arrange some kind of payment plan?0
