I want a slow cooker recipe

Hi as anyone got a recipe for Lancashire Hot Pot. I have only just bought my slow cooker so am a little niave with timings. I dont want a fancy recipe and if it has been tried & tested, then all the better. Many Thanks

Don`t be worried about cooking times with a slow cooker, just follow any casserole/stew recipe and leave it on low for 8 hours and enjoy

many thanks for your replies i have printed off some of the recipes and will use one of these at the weekend. With regard to the potatoes on top of the hot pot, should I put them into a hot oven to crisp once it has finished cooking in slow cooker?
