Trust my DS to pick a sainsburys store that doesnt do transfers!!
Feel really sad that he has worked in the pharmacy dept for nearly 2 years, excellent time and attendance, loves his job, but they dont do transfers or keep your job open for term breaks :(
So today is his last day as he is off to uni on wednesday.

they dont do store transfers, not heard that 1 before,

    Neither have I !!
When my DS asked them, he was told to ring around the stores where he was moving to (Leicester) and if they had a vacancy then his sainsbury would speak to them. Obviously, when he did this he was asked why his own store wasnt setting up a transfer. So he went back to his store and asked them for more help and they said "ok we'll email some stores." That was last week and he leaves today. Dont even know if they did email anyone as they never got back to him and HR manager is never available.
  • Whatever you do, don't claim to have re used more carrier bags than you actually have!
MSE aim: more thanks than posts :j
  • and if you have a colleague called Jumpycheese, head for the hills!
