Selling old CDs and DVDs (other than ebay/cex) ?

Options
Just worked out how much I'll get for my old dvds and cds (I put in 24 then got disheartened).

£10 from music magpie

£15ish from cex (then cost of posting) = £8ish

Some really good CDs in there albeit old ones! I'm so depressed by those figures I'm thinking of keeping them!

Is there anywhere else to sell them apart from amazon (all on for 1p), play.com, ebay, cex or music magpie?

thanks in advance

It looks like you've tried all the logical places and it might be time to admit that your tastes were 'popular' hence there being no rarity value to them. It's usually the rarer niche stuff that gets the bets prices second hand as less was bought in the first place.

  • Do you have a second hand music store near you? I used to live near one that paid for old records and CDs. They don't pay much but I'm sure they'll give you a sight more than 10p per CD. It's worth looking into anyway.

soolin, are you suggesting that Hanson are not a niche market?:rotfl:
(don't worry that was the worst in the collection )

Depending on which Hanson cd you have you can get a lot of money for it

If you have Boomerang or MMMBop they sell for £100+
