Hi there,
Have a query, one of my creditors has not asked me for any monies for some two years (natwest). It shows on my credit report as a default some 30 months ago, as no one is asking I have not been paying, presuming (in hope) that I never hear from them, does this mean that after 6 years of the default being on the account it comes off the credit file even if no payment is made?

Yep, But they still have pleanty of time to chase you, add interest, late fees...
I would admit it and make a payment arangement if i were you, before somebody notices and decides it's time you had a CCJ....All comments and advice given is my own opinion and does not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.

Can you afford to pay the debt? Or start making some payments
If so id arrange to start asap as posted above, from a morale point of view it will be worth paying it back.
