Actually i'm not sure about the dodgy reports of Madeley Court Hotel - i come from Telford and in the past it always had a good reputation. However things may have changed!

I heed the above warnings but the Victorian Hull one looks nice for Valentines weekend, also our wedding anniversary, not a lot of money for what's seemingly on offer. Booze only available 6 - 11pm though so no afternoon tipples :rolleyes:

not quite sure what you are talking about, font style?!?!? I don't like verdana is that a crime, this is only the SECOND post I have ever made (the first was about Blackpool Pleasure Beach and I don't own that either), people like you are the reason I don't bother posting many deals. My girlfriend is 24. Will they really need her to prove she's over 25 if it's all booked under my name?

I can vouch for a thumbs up for Madeley Court Hotel too - I don't come from Telford (I thanks my lucky stars for that) but we have an office there and myself and a colleague once had to stay for the week.
Food was great as were the staff (we were on a course in one of the hotels training rooms so we had brekkie,lunch and dinner there all week)
Only complaint was it wasn't very sound proof rooms wise and a tad noisy where we were.
Other than the fact the hotel is old and supposed to be haunted apparently - it's great
No seriously, I was very impressed with it - would be good for couples

That part is a bit rubbish. Yes there are idiots under 25 but not all of us are. There are plenty over 25 who will take the pee with the offer too.
Not that I could take advantage anyway, can't take any leave during probation on my new job, but the principle behind this rule is irksome.
