Is it possible to get a mortgage while in receipt of DSA or other benefits?

That really depends on what you mean by 'other benefits', how is your total income made up and of course what your total income is, size of your deposit/price of the house you want to buy.
  • What I mean is would a bank consider DSA as an income when assessing repayment capacity? I am in receipt of DSA and my girlfriend is unemployed.

Do you mean DSA or DLA? DSA is not paid towards living expenses, so would not be counted.

Perhaps you could itemise exactly what you receive?
    Gone ... or have I?

DSA? Disabled Students Allowance.... I cant see that this would be taken into account.

If you mean DLA Disability Living Allowance, yes 'some' lenders include a % (varies) of this.

But it really would depend on the other details.
