how fresh is 'doorstep milk'?

definately not sacking the milkman! just reading the posts made me realise how lucky I am. also, during the bad weather the last couple of weeks - the local shop has run out of milk before I can get there! lucky i dont need any cos my milkman has ensured he has delivered.
taken on board the advice about a cool box in the summer - my front door faces the rising sun and if Oh doesnt bring it in - I dont use milk so dont think about it and it can be there hours!.
I forgive milkie for no calendar! tough times for them I know. but it was soooooooooo handy!!!

Hey all,

Me and my wife started getting our milk delivered at the end of December and I must say it is by far (very far) much better than supermarket milk. It costs a bomb by comparison but it tastes so much better and we're supporting a local business.

Another thing is it's encouraged me to drink milk more regularly and it has improved my skin (chronic eczema sufferer for 30+ years) so much!

Also, nothing beats the cream on the top, best on cereals :-)
