Are they a thing of the past?

  • Afraid so Pam. Tupperware no longer operates in the UK.

Why not have an Ann Summers party instead? :rotfl:

Not quite the same thing :naughty:.

I don't think Ann Summers products are designed to last as long as Tupperware so not very moneysaving :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I was at a Craft Fair last year Xmas 08 in Agory and there was a lady doing Tubberware but I don't know her details. Did you try to google Tubberware N Ireland? May help
  • Pampered chef ( http://www.pamperedchef.co.uk/ ) seems to be the nearest that I can see.

But......... according to the website( http://www.tupperware.co.uk )there is an option to host a party so it must still be going yet?

Or you could try a Jamie at Home party ( https://www.jamieathome.com )

I'd be dangerous at a kitchenware party, kitchen thing are my very weak spot! Hubby keeps me on a short leash when I get near a shop that sells kitchen stuff  :D:D

Hope this is of use to you!
  • Oh thanks for this. They did stop operating in NI many years ago at least that's what I was told by a lady who had been a very successful party consultant for them. It would be great if they were back in business here.

That and Lakeland, we'll be spoiled rotten! :T

Hubs is dreading the opening!! I can't wait :j:j:j
  • what about a templespa night, i know a girl does it and would appeal to me more than kitchen equipment, esp in jan we could all do with a bit of fun and pampering.

I have to hide this answer from my hubby now. Pampered chef and Jamie at home look fabulous. I'll have to leave it a couple of months to get over the Christmas bills. Then I'll broach the subject of a party with friends etc :D

    Hi All

I am a consultant with Jamie At Home and love it, I remember my mum & gran having Tupperware parties and they seemed to enjoy it.

Good Luck what ever you decide to do.

    Cheers
    Karen
